The Governing Board of the Financial Institutions Commission (FIC) has appointed Ms. V. Tikei Sbal as Executive Commissioner of the FIC, effective May 20, 2025.
The Governing Board is confident that under Ms. Sbal’s leadership, the Commission will continue to fulfill its statutory mandate of promoting and ensuring the integrity and confidence in the financial sector of the Republic of Palau; and maintain stability, transparency, and accountability within our financial system.
